Welcome to the official Website of Mapua World 2013. Mapua World is a biennial worldwide gathering of alumni of the Mapua Institute of Technology. It was conceived by the International Association of Mapua Alumni, Ontario (IAMAO) to welcome the new millennium. Its primary goal is to build closer and beneficial relationships among the different Mapua alumni chapters in different parts of the world.

Mapua World was first held in Toronto, Canada, on August 4 to 6, 2000 and the most recent one was held in Calgary, Canada, in 2011 from the 30th of June to the 3rd of July. Mapua World 2013 will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 14 to 17 and it will be hosted by the Hawaii Association of Mapua Alumni (HAMA). This will be the 7th time that Mapua World will be held. In 2015, the 8th Mapua World Convention & Grand Reunion will be held in Sydney, Australia.

Through this Website you will be informed of the different events and activities that will take place during the 4-day convention, the process of registration is outlined, convention fees are given, information on hotel accomodations is provided, and how to contact us should you need further information. A listing of the different committees that have been organized to plan and efficiently execute the different activities are also provided through this Website. And lastly, a listing of alumni and guests who have completed their registration will be provided in this Website as well. Alumni and guests are encouraged to register early to avail of the discount given and be assured participation in this biennial gathering to be held in Hawaii, 'The Land of Aloha'.

The Hawaii Association of Mapua Alumni cordially invites you to this forthcoming Convention and Grand Reunion. It will be a gathering of Mapuans from the United States & its Territories, Canada, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, the Middle East, Europe, and a number of other countries in different parts of the world. With Honolulu, Hawaii being one of the most popular tourist destinations, it is expected that this gathering of Mapuans will be well attended, if not the biggest ever.

It is not the intention of the Hawaii Association of Mapua Alumni to outdo what has been done in the past by the six other Mapua World hosts. Our Chapter was organized just a few years ago and it consists only of a handful of active members and our resources are very limited as well. However, we are fully dedicated and committed in seeing to it that Mapua World 2013 will turn out to be a successful and memorable event, and also give you a chance to experience the 'Spirit of Aloha'.

Join us in March of 2013 for this worldwide gathering of Mapuans and also give yourselves a chance to see the many beautiful landmarks and attractions of our island paradise. A SOUVENIR PROGRAM will be published to commemorate this event and we would like to invite you to participate by including your advertisement. Through your advertisement you will be able to help our Chapter shoulder the cost in hosting this major event and we will be extremely grateful if you do. If you plan to attend Mapua World 2013, kindly REGISTER ONLINE now so our Chapter will be able to better plan things out ahead of time. When registering indicate if your spouse and other guests will be joining you. Specify as well the different activities they will be joining. And when you are ready to mail your Registration Fee, include a copy of the Registration Form which you can download from this Website. Do the same for your spouse and other guests who will be attending with you. Just remember that if your payment for the registration is received on or before 14 December 2012, you need only to pay $150. Beyond this deadline, it will be $170.
